By using BillMender, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a dispute letter packet.

BillMender is not a law firm, does not employ or provide attorneys, does not review your specific legal situation, and does not form an attorney-client relationship with you. Nothing on this site or in any generated letter is legal advice. If you need legal advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney in your state.

We do not guarantee any specific outcome, refund amount, or dollar figure from any hospital or insurer — every estimate is derived from the information you enter and public reference pricing, and actual results depend on your hospital, your insurer, and the specifics of your account. Letters generated by BillMender are drafts for you to review, personalize, sign, and send yourself. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information before sending a letter. BillMender never invents billing codes, dates, or amounts — every figure in a generated letter comes from what you entered.

Payment and refunds

The dispute letter packet is a one-time $49 purchase, processed securely by Stripe. Because the packet is a digital product generated and delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once your packet has been generated. If something went wrong on our end — the packet failed to generate, contained a clear error, or you were charged in error — email [email protected] and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate.

Acceptable use

Don't use BillMender to submit false or fraudulent information, to generate letters for bills that aren't your own without authorization, or to abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent the security of this site.

Limitation of liability

BillMender and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any letter it generates, including any outcome of a dispute with a hospital, insurer, or collections agency. Our total liability for any claim related to your purchase is limited to the amount you paid us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
